Best Poster and Best Paper Awards

Best paper award is for students and/or postdocs who submit papers for Optofluidics 2017.


Each year, Technical Program Committee (TPC) in Optofluidics recognizes five outstanding students’ oral presentations and five excellent posters in the conference. The winner of the best oral presentation/poster will be given cash prize.

To be eligible for the Award, nominees must submit an abstract for either an oral or poster presentation before the relevant conference deadlines.

OSA Awards

Could you be the next winner of the OSA Award?

This award recognizes one outstanding junior faculty who demonstrated distinguish contribution in the field of Optofluidics.  The winner of the OSA award will be given a cash prize.

To be eligible for the Award, nominees must submit an abstract for an oral presentation before the relevant conference deadlines.


To be eligible for OSA Award, nominees must submit an abstract for an oral presentation to the conference of Optofluidics before the relevant conference deadlines.

In additional to the cash prize, the winner of OSA award is invited to compose a research/review article for Micromachine journal. Nominees from all world regions will be considered but all nominees must:

  • Be a Junior PI (Priority will be given to those under 35 years old)
  • Have submitted an abstract to Optofluidics and commit to attending the meeting.

All nominations for the award must be received by June 16th, 2017.

Innovation Awards

Could you be the next winner of Innovation Award?

This award recognizes one outstanding faculty who demonstrated promising contribution in industry/applications of Optofluidics. The winner of the Innovation award will be given a cash prize.


To be eligible for the Award, nominees must submit an abstract for an oral presentation before the relevant conference deadlines.

In additional to the cash prize, the winner of the innovation award is invited to compose a research/review article for Micromachine journal.  Nominees from all world regions will be considered but all nominees must:

  • Be a PI
  • Have submitted an abstract to Optofluidics and commit to attending the meeting.

All nominations for the award must be received by June 16th, 2017.
