Scope

Optofluidics is a multidisciplinary research area combining photonics and fluidic matters. Optical devices have inextricably linked with fluidic materials from their birth to practical applications. This special topic session will explore the advantages of combining different materials or functions into optical devices and systems, and the applications on optical imaging & detection systems and aims to exploit these novel phenomena to provide better solutions for next generation integrated systems for biological/chemical analytic systems, environment monitoring etc.
